Playa Hermosa
5 minutes drive from our front gate, is the closer beach to our property. It's a long open beach with surfable waves. The community raised money every year to fund the lifeguards for the beach.
Whale’s Tail
You must visit the beach that forms on the Whales Tail ("Bellena") at low tide. Driving south, it's just after Uvita on the right. Playa Dominical
15 minutes north, has bigger waves and a decent beach scene with restaurants. You'll also find a small supermarket, bank with ATM, surf shops, etc.
Playa Dominicalito
10 minutes north, is a very scenic small beach with waves crashing on rock formations on the beach. We love to take walks there with the kids after eating at Por Que No restaurant and collect seashells.
