At 900 feet in elevation on a ridge overlooking an orchard which rainforest animals and birds love providing wondrous photo opportunities that also overlooks the Pacific Ocean and steep mountainous private rainforest, Villa Chill has a regular breeze and inspiring views all year around, all day long. Toucans and monkeys are frequent visitors in trees around the villa. Guided onsite hikes will take you through a pristine jungle to see what few people have the opportunity to see. Hiking

Selva Escondida is a tropical rainforest property with Mother Nature on full display. You'll be able to explore wildlife without having to drive anywhere. We maintain a private trail system as follows:

Sunrise walk on concrete roads in flip flops with you cup of coffee in hands
Moderate 30 minutes hike up to the Mirador lookout
Advance 90 minutes hike to the Mirador and to Cascada Sofia

The hike is complimentary with our staff. Please plan on leaving a tip. Hydrate yourself before the hike!

Short sleeve shirts that won't catch on branches.
Sunglasses (you don't need them for the Mirador & Cascada Sofia as you will be in the jungle)

The best hiking shoes are rubber fireman/rain boots that cost ~$20 at the local hardware store and Villa Chill also keeps some extra boots. Tennis shoes are fine during dry season. Hiking Selva Escondida is a great work out immersed in one of Earth's prettiest paradises.
